Important points regarding each client:
Notes client
* As with previous 8.x versions of the Notes client, Notes 8.5 client is available both as a standard configuration (Eclipse) and basic configuration (as with previous Notes 7.x releases and below). The table below shows which install packages contain each configuration.
* The table also indicates which install packages contain a Notes client single user install or multi-user install, or both.
* The table also shows which install packages contain the the standard configuration and which contain the basic configuration.
Domino Designer client
* Release 8.5 introduces the Domino Designer client on the Eclipse platform.
* Note that there is no “basic” version of the Domino Designer client. Domino Designer client in 8.5 is “Standard Configuration” only, on the Eclipse platform.
* The table below indicates which install packages contain the Domino Designer client.
Domino Administrator client
* As with previous 8.x releases, there is no Eclipse version of the Domino Administrator 8.5 client.
