GURU Tip: Check Your View Sizes

One of the things that can contribute to excessive database file size is the size of the view indexes in the database. You can easily check to see how big all the views are by running the following command at the server console:

show database dbname.nsf

If you have any huge view indexes in the database, you might want to trim them down by reducing the number of sorted columns or by filtering the docs in the selection formula.
