Abstract
Apple has announced it will make iOS 8 available for download on September 17, 2014. IBM is currently working on new versions of the Sametime Mobile Chat and Meetings applications to fix the iOS8 compatibility issues. However, these updates will not be available ahead of September 17.

The current 9.1.1 IBM Sametime mobile application and 9.1.2 IBM Sametime Meetings for iOS mobile application are incompatible with iOS 8. Apple has announced iOS 8 will be generally available for download on September 17. IBM is currently working on new versions of the Sametime Mobile Chat and Meetings applications to fix the iOS 8 compatibility issues. However, these updates will not be available ahead of September 17.
